OPERATOR NOTICE
One line that sits at the top of every crew screen (full and Simple Mode) until you clear it. Crew can dismiss it on their own phone; a new notice shows again.
COMMS PANEL
Select channels — PTT talks to all selected at once
COMMS CHAT
ALL shows every incoming message. Switch to CHANNEL or DIRECT to filter.
NETWORK READINESS
Can crew devices reach this box on the current network? Checks for guest-Wi-Fi isolation, captive portals, internet, and a stale named URL.
NOISE REDUCTION
Global noise gate + suppression on all comms — silences background/dead-air noise
Audio safety (v1.44.0): the ceiling is a hard clip on every crew device's receive mix — nothing above it reaches an ear. The glitch guard detects a stuck or looping signal, mutes it within half a second, rebuilds the audio path and logs rx_glitch in Diagnostics (media).
Voice-optimized encoding halves audio bandwidth (~28 vs ~58 kbps per stream) — tuned for radio-style voice. Applies to each user's next transmission.
CHANNELS
APPEARANCE
The look every crew phone, desktop and this console wear. Switching is live: screens restyle in about a second and nobody re-joins. The original A-Comm look is always one click away and never needs a licence.

CREW ACCOUNTS
Named users who sign in with a username and password and land in the role and channels you set — on any device, every time. Walk-up crew with the access code are unaffected.
Columns: username, callsign, role, channels, password, simple_lock. Blank role = crew · blank channels = the role's default · blank password = a temporary one, shown once after import. Admin accounts are added one at a time above. Nothing is written until you press IMPORT.
WHAT'S NEW
The same notes testers get in their Settings → What's new, plus the admin lines. Full list: /release-notes.
USER ROLES
Define what each role can do — the live version of the role matrix. Assign a user to a role in the user list. Switch view = the user gets a Simple Mode switch in their own Settings (big talk + latch, one channel). To force Simple Mode on someone, use SIMPLE LOCK in Connected Users or the Simple column in Crew Accounts — a lock always wins.
DIAGNOSTICS
Alerts view — warnings, errors, security, and known-issue hits. Expand for the full stream.
